You don't show you know what Barry Fell wrote about the beginnings of
archaeology in his book.


I know full well what he wrote in that book.

It is my observation that most current archaeologists dismiss his
work.

Correct, because most of it is complete bull. Even modern epigraphers (what
Fell was) distance themselves from a lot of his stuff in order to be taken
more seriously.
