Altough this is news, it is not new.
It is not a discovery because the existence of the city
and other settlements, including 'sensational finds'
was already known for dozens of years.
Surprisingly (?) I was unable to find any usefull reports,
websites of pictres about it on the Net.

All of the articles in the press read like 'end of the year accounts'
of what I did this year.

Although I do not doubt the results of the expedition(s),
the news covering is a fine example of spicing up.
Presenting additional finds as teh discovery of an civilisation
and at least suggestioning that old finds (eg bronze couldrons)
are new.
But it apears to be an Area of Great Touristic Importance.
