Re: "People first lived in Britain about 700,000 years ago" ?

It does take some reading, but it isn't terribly difficult if you keep at it.

I am just currently trying to keep up with current events. I've got a lot to read already from you here already. Some years ago after I read 13 sci-fi books (over 4000 pages of dreams of Dr. Sardonicus) in a row, I read a dozen books in a logical order to gain some insight. I began with "The Big Bang" and finished off with "Living In Space" after going through bones, archaeology, the history of civilization, the earth, the solar system, the space shuttle, the universe etc. Years later I read The Bible for Dummies. Thousands of pages later I can just barely keep up a conversation, I hate sweating the details, but I'm light years ahead of where I was before.
