In the sci.arch Archives is it usual to get 237 Messages into a Thread?

There were only 12 authors in the "Getting serious
about archaeological sites starting with Mehrgarh"
Thread starting from Jul 11 2007.
The Thread is a momument to immaturity with next
to no one actually interested in the archaeology of
Mehrgarh. Instead, Han*** got shot down and
I took a shellacking over nothing. I got really tired
of people being skeptical of my accurate statements.
For any archaeologist with the slightest interest,
Possehl, Kennoyer, Lukacs, and the Jarriges are the
acknowledged experts.
