Yes, but a complicating factor is that he only can get
his satisfaction from positive replies. And since he
posts nothing agreeable, there is very little we can
do about it.
He already started 48 threads this month, which is a
quarter or the total. There is realy only one remedy
to regain the balance.

my latest important messages instead of letting fly with
his traditional bunk.
As you already know, I was Moderator of the Christian
Origins Yahoo Group for 4 years. I created it so that
Dr. Barbara Thiering could defend her scholarly work.
Thus, an archaeological issue I actually care about is
brought forward in the recent Thread -
"Degeneration of the Qumran Thread on ANE-2 Yahoo Group"
I would love to see sci.archers revive a Qumran Archaeology
Thread and have at it.
discussion of Qumran with you, and I feel I speak for
most posters in this NG. In fact, you have put a pall
on the subject to the extent that any topics relating
to Qumran that others might be interested to discuss
are probably not brought up.
This is a reminder to other posters--and I know I am
breaking my own rule again by having written this
message--that when you reply to Carl/David, it serves
to set off even greater posting activity on his part.
I don't believe that is true. That is not the
attention he seeks. He seeks confirmation.
Lloyd wrote today: "David's goal is to have the
entire page of threads appear with his name as author.
His next goal will be to keep it that way."
In a way that is true, but I think it is even worse.
he is a obsessed preacher, obsessed with Barbara Thiering,
so his goal is to make sci.archaeology a group her.
He has nothing with archaeology, even nothing with
Qumran, he doesn't know nothing about it. All he is
interested in is his beloved BT, who kicked him out
like everybody else kicked him out.
I don't understand why this hasn't dawned on all of you..
