Jack, and others,
this is interesting in more ways than one. Actually I have plans
contacting
one of my former teachers at Linköping's university, who happened to
have
or
at least put forward this hypotes over the ice via Alaska to Greenland
back
in early 1990's. It's seemed than a possible timetable but not so
probable,
thanks for the info.
Inger E:
Why did they have to travel "over the ice"?
Could they not have crossed open water in summer using boats?
Couldn't they have crossed dry land in summer instead waiting for
winter to deposit ice on top?
Where was this ice that they "must" have crossed, please?
- Daryl Krupa
The story orally told according to what we heard then was that they did
cross on some kind of pre-skiis. I think we discussed the several thousand
year old skii found in northern Canada here in group some years ago, might
have it saved on my old computer. Eric S, do you remember?
I dimly remember something but I can't find it in either Google or my
now mangled archives.

Guess I will have to try to put my old computer together one of these days.
I know I have that conversation/discussion saved somewhere. Not on my
present computer which btw crashed last week. I think I prefer my old one,
if it only had been possible to use Explorer 7 on that computer everything
would have been fine.
