The dig was even officially blessed by some of them :-).
But it was told that they almost certainly gather at Stonehenge
in the wrong time of year, and facing the wrong way.
What is the right time of year to gather at Stonehenge and which direction should people be facing and why?
Google it. From memory if you stand in the center the vernal equinox is over the heel stone or would be if it were 3000 years ago. Something like that. One of the problems is there are so many columns and markers that they should all connect with something.
The entire thing is not worth the interest in it so far. It is difficult to imagine the structure and its surroundings have not been done to death with non-intrusive methods such a ground penetrating radar and satellite imagining. I have not heard of anyone finding anything worth digging. If in fact there were a village around it or clearly associated with it or if there were a decent number of artifacts found it would be interesting. As it is, it is just an anomaly.

Jews first appear in world history in the late 2nd c. BC. Only a fool would
believe their religion is older than that.
