I'd stick with this:

There are more people living today than have ever DIED.
The period of a generation is birth of female to her first child. That is 15 years. That is more than 6.6 generations per century. It is 66 generations per thousand years. If humans have been around for 100,000 years that is 6600 generations. We divide that into (roughly) six billion world population and find (roughly) an average human population of one million per generation makes the dead equal to the living.
Even if all 10,000 neanderthals bred with humans and had kids who were
fruitful and multiplied, I don't believe they'd leave a trace in the
DNA record today.
That assumes no unique genetic component. That has yet to be established. It is not that hard a problem. Neanderthals are not found very far from Europe and North Africa. Syria is about as far east as they traveled. Genes existing only in the "known" range of Neanderthals would be a strong indicator of interbreeding if they can be explained no other way.
Especially since a weak neanderthal would totally own even the
strongest Cro-Magnon in a fist fight. In other words, in those brutal
times, I'd imagine there were alot more male neanderthals having their
way with Hss women than the other way around.
An hss male trying to rape a neanderthal woman would be a laughable
scene, cuz the hss would get his arse kicked. And DNA is carried by
the female, correct?
Were you raped?
Yes ... at first.
When we have people helping pigs over fences we cannot assume rape is the only means of intercourse.
Beyond that, compared to Neanderthal males HSS males are more "childlike" and thus fit the attractiveness model for females.
