Whatever, I reported on Conard on sci.arch some
time ago and am interested in his archaeological
work.
So, here is an actual video interview with the man.
Get it?
I got it. I got it when Jack posted an article on it yesterday, and
today when he posted a link to the sound file 13 hours before you did.
You don't read any threads you don't start, do you?- Hide quoted text -

Yet, what I posted has its own value. You should
acknowledge that. Further, you know from the past
on sci.arch that I have done extensive research on
what Conard has to say about figurative art. If any
sci.archer wants a relevant conversation about
Conard, just start it with me...
I already wasted time tonight attempting discussion with you. Won't
repeat that today.
Might I suggest making that a "for all time" commitment? The man is
crazy. Line today from cable TV "We used to put the criminally insane
in straitjackets, now we let them post of usenet" Altered for the
subject.
You are not wrong -- except that I don't think Crunchy is criminally
insane. He, or his on-line persona (have to be careful -- he could be
the best-ever, long-term Usenet troll) has definable issues; but it is
no crime to be a Usenet crank/kook
There is a web site devoted to cranks and kooks and monomaniacs, but I
don't know if there is a place where great (FCVO 'great') Usenet
cranks/kooks/monomaniacs are memorialized. With his body of work, he
might be a prime candidate for that sort of thing.
If there is, David Dave Carl Philip "Crunch" Christainsen would almost
certainly qualify. Make it a bit easier if there were a simple link
one could post for newbies who don't know his history.
