It was described as Cirencester's

What do you think that you are gaining by posting of the sort you posted.
Do you think that these sorts of posts establish you as having any special
expertise or abilities in archaeology? News flash: they do not.
Essentially, the simply make you a spammer. Note my signature. In my spare
time, I just may decide to take your spamming up with the appropriate
authorities.

Well, David, it's like this. You are spamming this newsgroup, by posting
items that you are mischaracterizing. You are wasting peoples' time, and
you are wasting bandwith. If you keep it up, I may just decide to pursue
the matter with your ISP, and if you try to play the "rotating ISP game with
me," I may decide to give some of my friends a call. Those friends work for
Uncle Sam, as I used to.

And by the way, what *do* you think you are gaining by posting as you do,
except in your warped mind the abilitiy to tell others that you are a
"player" in archaeology and lead many discussion groups in sci.archaeology.

Again, David, take note of my signature. I'm not playing around
