While I do try to avoid top posting, since it is disliked so, I generally
read entire threads, or at least until it becomes uninteresing or starts
repeating itself. With bottom posting, I have to at least scan through
everything over and over again, pretty much like someone who keeps
forgetting to put the bookmark back. Perhaps top posting is impolite for
folks coming in in mid-stream, but it makes it a lot more agreeable when
reading an entire thread, at least for me.

At any rate, I don't write much here these days, so it doesn't make a lot of
difference.
