Actually it does! Ever heard about inertia? Inertia is the reason why,
within a rotating coordinate system, there appears pseudo-forces such
as the centrifugal and coriolis forces. It is also the reason why
gravity appears as a pseudoforce in the curved 4-dimensonal space-time.
Note that this also explains why the inertial mass and the gravitational
mass have the same value. This has been verified experimentally to perhaps
some 13 digits of precision. And GR is the only theory which gives an
explanation to this: since gravity is a pseudo-force due to inertia,
the gravitational and inertial masses don't merely happen to have the
same value - they are the same thing.
