I wouldn't suggest you buy a ticket just yet. Remember, SpaceshipOne's only
purpose was to get to the 62 mile altitude and that's all. The craft's
velocity was far short of orbital velocity, so re-entry problems are not
encountered. Comparatively, this makes the mission quite easy. Let's see
what happens to that cost per pound rate when the craft gets up to a speed
of about 18,000 mph.
