Star diagonals

Good day,

I am after some thoughts on star diagonals for a C11 SCT.

The included piece has begun to deteriorate after only three years, and I
suspect it was always the weak link in the chain anyway. Given these
conditions it seems a good idea to get a super duper third party
replacement.

So I understand there are amici prism and mirror types. What factors make
one better than the other? Any specific brand recommendations?
