It has been a few years, but I used a couple of these. The idea is that the
top unscrews, revealing t-threads, onto which you can place a camera's
t-adapter and camera (I hope I am remembering the correct nomenclature
here!). This allows you to interchange the camera and eyepiece without
needing a lot of extra travel. I believe all you need is a Topcon
t-adapter.

I used a couple variations of this focuser on a Newtonian. Does yours
simply turn by hand or does it have a base ring with holes for three
handles? The latter was considerably tighter and easier to use.

After using helical focusers for years, my wife's scopes convinced me to
return to a good Crayford or variation. I sold all the Uni-tee stuff at
Stelli, although one basic variety lingers on my 10" f/9.5.

Clear skies, Alan
