There are MANY computer manufacturers who will not (and haven't for
several years ) ship UPS Ground.
It seems that you saw how the 14" was packed. After having observed how
it was done, what did you expect? It would seem to me that packing a 14"
scope for any sort of shipping may be an art... You may want to out your
"pallette."
