I'm willing to be if Canon made their 6.3 Mpixel chip/electronics available
to someone like SAC, a peltier cooled USB2 camera based on that chip would
sell like crazy. The camera body sells for $800.00 The chip/electronics
can't cost much more than a few hundred dollars.
