Not for everyone. But I wouldn't let that be a factor in choosing a
telescope either. Astronomy is a hobby for the patient, and learning how to
collimate a telescope is part of the experience to embrace, even though it
can be extremely frustrating to learn. Especially when you haven't had a
clear night in weeks, and only then find out that the secondary has shifted
hopelessly out of reach of perfect collimation for the primary.
