My wife and I have no control over the court system other than trying
to avoid being in it, but we do have control over our own choices and
our own relationship. The fact that the court system is biased doesn't
mean that we have to be biased as well. The situation described (the
wife can dictate to the husband how many telescopes he can have but
the husband cannot dictate to the wife how many shoes or pots and pans
she can have) is the result of the two of them deciding to not have a
fair and equal marriage, not the result of bias in the court system.
