How about: Don't serve coffee to people that will scald people if it is
spilled.

That's pretty much a no-brainer..

  Lots of ways coffee can get spilled that is not the fault of the person
buying it: Improperly installed lid, the server accidentally dumps the bag,
car getting hit from the rear at the drive up window.
