It would not surprise me if they are well suited for faster Newtonian
use I've seen that before. Years ago I showed Rick Singmaster the
famous Rini 2.00" 35mm Super Plossl 68° (probably very similar to the
30mm). He stuck it in one of his 12" f/5's and was totally stunned.
He immediately gave me his personal Tele Vue 32mm WF and cash for a
couple of them in trade :-)
BTW, if you are using a corrector element (barlow) in your BV that is
why they 30mm are so sweet at f/4.
