That's a months rent for me, hmmm ... wonder if the park owner would let me
skate one month ... HaHaHa, no way. Not a bad deal. And tonight is a nice
clear night too.

For sale: 10" f/5 reflecting telescope. Purchased new in summer of 2003.
Scope is in very nice condition as i always take good care of my
equipment. Made by Guan Sheng and is the same scope sold by OPT, Hardin,
and others. (See photo of scope here... http://tinypic.com/dvhw2)
I enjoyed using this scope very much but have found that i enjoy viewing
with high quality refractors more and the dob now sits unused. I'd
rather it find a nice home where it will get back out under the stars.
I've made a few upgrades to the scope: Replaced all original Nylon alt
and az bearing with real Teflon, replaced azimuth pivot bolt and placed
Nylon washers around pivot for better support, installed black felt
opposite the focuser, added 3 carry handles to the base, added a
document/chart holder to the base, small hook next to the alt bearing to
hang red LED light. Original eyepiece rack is included. I removed the
tension springs as i found i didn't need them but the springs and
mounting hardware are included if you wish to reinstall them. I no
longer have the original optical finder as i always used a Telrad. The
scope has a Telrad base attached and the base is included but not the
Telrad itself. I've also misplaced the original eyepieces but will
include a new high quality Tele Vue 20mm Plossl eyepiece. Optical tube
is in original box with styrofoam inserts. The base is assembled and not
boxed. I do not want to ship the telescope and will deliver for free
within 100 miles of Palm Springs, Calif. Otherwise all shipping and
crating charges are to be paid by the purchaser. $350. Paypal is fine
and no surcharge, also personal check or even cash!
