I bought a 5mm X-Cell used. It's a "lost cause" as far as I can see. I was
hoping for a "poorman's Radian" but what I got was a large eyepiece with good
eye relief but lateral color and various sorts of aberrations I cannot identify
that smear the edge. It is most noticeable on the moon. Makes my 6mm Synta
Widefield look like a dream.

My scopes are mostly fast, the slowest being a Pronto at F6.9. Does it in them
all.

I figure there is something wrong with the one I got.

One data point.
