Rich,
I just purchased an Olympus E-1 digital SLR. It has a Noise Reduction
feature for exposures in low light conditions, a manual bulb shutter time of
up to 8 minutes, and with ISO Boost turned on, ISO can be set all the way up
to 3200. I haven't tried any of these features out yet, but intend to
tonight as I am hoping to use it to take some aurora pictures. It is an
expensive camera, but so far the pictures that I have took during the day
look incredible. It's a camera that you might like to check out.
