I recommend a decent dob, a 6" should do it. I have an 8" and it's a bit
much for me to carry about. The views through it are fantasic though. I
think you can get a Orion 8" dob for about $340 + shipping. I can't say that
I recommend any of the computerized scopes, while they are neat and can save
time, it's really more fun to learn your way around, plus, the extra $$ can
be better spent IMO on optics.
