Using RAW mode is a very good idea, it removes many artifacts applied by the
standard camera.

Trying to use uncompressed mode in K3CCDTools is a misunderstanding that
only causes more lost frames. The camera will transport images to the PC in
the I420 codec format no matter what you do, you are only asking K3CCDTools
to spend more time converting to 24bit RGB during capture (plus waste twice
as much disk space) without gaining anything on quality.

Apply the raw mode and use default codec, that is the best you can achieve.
