So, I am curious what people >(And they seriously glossed over the issue of
chromatic aberration. Saying

I am wondering what the advantages of this lens might be?
It seems to me that it is likely made from an unstable material with properties
that change significantly with temperature, mechanically it has essentially no
strength and will probably change shape significantly with small changes in
angle.
Just wondering....
