Well, I'd be inclined to agree, except that if you go back to the original
reference you can see the question that was actually asked, which is why the Sun
appears larger in the sky in January then in July. This is a multiple choice
question, with only one possible answer even if you have no knowledge of this
subject. I'm afraid what the survey actually demonstrates is that 59% of 12th
graders taking this test are incapable of basic reasoning. That is sad and
scary.
