Rumor that ISS was created to, "give jobs to starving Russian scientists so
they wouldn't go build atom bombs for the Arabs."
are refractors hurt the hobby? (from the nets biggest refractorphobe. At
least it's a change from his usual Roland/apo makers conspire to keep the
price of apos artificially high / It could be lowered by economies of
scale.)
We just need to tell the Hawaiians their "superstitions" are not important?
look at this on ebay, and look at that on ebay, and look at this on ebay,

goto and public school are ruining the hobby?
Why not just restart Meade vs. Celestron and be done with it?
Rich has a long history of trolling here and elsewhere. The problem with
trolling is it grows. Successful trolling attracts more trolls. If you want
to see what that looks like, journey over to sci.astro. It used to be a
decent neighborhood, but is now the ghetto of trolls and netloons. The same
could happen here. In fact, it was not that long ago we noticed the trolls
increasing rapidly. Posts by a few of the older members here helped bring it
back into line (well, actually that started it. Some research by a few
members who posted what they found helped stop the worst of the trolling
;-)
