Maybe I am beating a dead horse. I have not really seen any critical
evaluations or comparisons of these two optics sets. I am not speaking of
mountings, just optics. Are they both nearly identical in quality and
performance? I know the Meade weighs more, and has a little larger primary,
but what about pure optical performance? And are both these scopes consistent
in their optical quality?
