Heh heh heh - I have a few classics in the archives if you want to see
them ;-) Most of the time they are pretty easy to remove. However,
it's just another 'thing' to think about (and there are already enough
of them when imaging).
I recently got a large format mosaic of the eclipsed Moon published by
a UK astronomy magazine.

This image was a DSLR mosaic. When I put it together, there was a
small fibre that appeared in each of the frames, nicely repeated
across the whole Moon! Fortunately, I noticed it in time! A new
lunar feature could have been created - RRL - repeating rima lawrence
;-)
