Skies are dark over much of the country. Iran is a larg country and the
large centers of population often have wide areas between them that are
sparsely populated. The favorite observing sites of the amateurs there
include isolated high mountain valleys in the summer and vast desert areas
in winter, all at historic locations. There is an amateur astronomer and
nature lover who is setting up astro-tours and they may start as early as
next year. But you could go visit our mutual friends at any time, Anthony!
