I gave myself a Digital Rebel for Christmas and have
been having great fun with it. The longest exposures
I've done so far are 30 seconds. I'm dropping by an
electronics store this afternoon to pick up the goodies
I need to make a remote shutter release so I can
go longer without wearing out my finger.
My first astronomical pictures were some fixed-tripod
shots of Taurus and Orion in the backyard, with an
outside temperature about 5 C. The images show no
noise, and the dark frames are black.
I've since bought an EOS-to-M42 adapter on EBay so I
can use some faster lenses, and will see if the local
telescope shop have EOS T rings in stock while I'm
out today.
