I disagree -- Dr, Arp's career in astrophysics was essentially ended
when he pursued research which concluded that some quasars were not at
the distances implied by their extreme redshifts. Although Arp was a
respected scientist and careful observer, he was publicly humiliated by
none other than Dr. Chandrasekhar, labeled as a crank, and was
systematically denied telescope time for observations.
There are numerous papers which describe unobservable dark matter and
dark energy, but can you name a recent paper that challenges the
standard redshift model? It's a "radioactive" subject in the church of
modern cosmology.
