I just started using the camera recently, and found it had a timer to turn
off the power after x minutes. That surprised me a bit, since I suspected
that if the LCD is not displaying anything, I would think the battery drain
is about that of an LCD watch--not much. So I set the timer off, and left
the camera ON. In less than 24 hours it was completely drained. What is it
powering aside from a display that hardly has anything on it? Is it
possible that with a few more recharges that the battery will become more
robust in such situations?
