I talked with Canon this morning and the referred me to Google with a
search for "Digital Photo Recovery". There's shareware and other software
out there that will do the job. Also mentioned any large store with
computer software, Best Buy, ... I'll try Staples later. I'll need a card
reader, which I happen to have bought a day or so ago.
I realized what I did immediately, and have not manipulated the card in
anyway since then. Well, I guess I'll get to test the recovery ability of
the software.
