I'm told he may be 'smarter' than he presents himself, though I seriously
doubt that theory. The theory goes on to suggest he makes himself act dumb
to better appeal to (i.e., come down to the level of) the general public.
Folksy kind of guy, ya know? Every time I see him on the tee-vee, I change
the channel.
