Whether the asking price is the actual selling price is a good
question.

I suspect it is based on the rapid turnover a number of items I have
seen sold (some within minutes of being listed).

How about you? If you sold a scope or accessory on Astromart, have you
gotten what you asked for it?

Also a telescope is a delicate piece of technology. As we all know,
buying an used scope brings with it an element of risk especially when
the buyer cannot test it before buying it. Not all used telescopes sold
have perfect optics.
