Hi, some of you asked me to update the thread when I made my purchase.
Well, I went for the Celestron Nexstar 130GT and am very pleased with it.

Been a bit cold so not too much time to play yet, but seeing the rings of
Saturn very clearly is a thrill and my girlfriend was very impressed and
intrigued too (all important!) ;)

So, in short, I appreciate your viewpoint as intermediates or experts, but
as an amateur I love what I can see, and the motorized 'go to' is wonderful.
