I bought one of these 5" f/5's from Jaegers way back when and like it
fine. It's not for planetary/lunar viewing but it gives wonderfully
sharp images at low power for star cloud and large nebula sweeping. It
also makes a great finder scope for my 16" f/6 Newt. I bought mine in
the cell, which made things easy. I noticed this one isn't mounted (or
he's not showing the cell if he has it), so that would have to be made
in addition to the rest of the OTA. The lens was up to $127.50 at noon
Texas time.
