OT: Sirius rising on my new TFT screen!

Hi

Is a bright pixel (2" from bottom edge at the centre the screen)
acceptable on a brand new TFT 19" computer screen? Or should I take it
back for a replacement?

I know this is a bit off-topic but I need an independant opinion before
I contact the shop again.

My false "star" is small and only visible against a dark background.

... It's not uncommon to have dead pixels on a new tft. ... Some makers allow up to 7 dp's before they allow ... I have recently bought 5 brand new ...
