Hmm, I guess we'll all just have to see where this all goes.
As an example, years ago, McIntosh Labratories in NY was bought out by
the Clarion Corp. Many, including employees worried at first that
McIntosh would then become a supplier of Audio Equipment only fit to be
sold in best Buy, and Circuit City, and that the McIntosh name would
become worthless to audiophiles.
Well, it didn't happen. McIntosh still manufactures ultra high quality
Audio equipment that can rival, or superceed the best made components in
the world, bar none. McIntosh's philosophy remained the same.
As for Orange Tubes coming back, I say yes, it is a good possibility.
An example, McIntosh under Clarion did re-issue thier world reknown,
famous MC-275 Stereo Tube Amp.
Perhaps this might be a blessing in discguise for use amateur consumers
of Celestron. Maybe it's too early to tell right this moment, but time
will tell. This change of hands may give the company new direction, and
goals, and as others have mentioned, Meade may be in for a go! Mark
