First, stars do not have a "dominant" emission but rather they behave
as black body emitters (certainly so in the visual spectrum).

Oh, well, another "scientist"... For some reason, fact that they
act as "black body emitters" doesn't prevent them of having
dominant emission, which is a function of their temperature.
For instance, hot stars emit several times more energy on
the short-wave end of the visual spectrum than on the long-wave
end. On the other hand, cold stars emit some ten times more
energy at the long vs. short end. That is why we see them
in different colors - or am I wrong again?

Secondly,
are you saying that the brighter the star the better the resolution (of

what, the star?) or stars with different brighness have different
resolution?

It is clear what I am saying. Excuse me, will you - becoming
tired of repeating simple statements.
