Gerald,
Lighten up! When people present facts about your ideas deal
with the facts, don't accuse us of being stupid or agents of
discord. That's how threads become ad hominem rants and we
loose sight of whatever values are in your ideas.

I had forgotten this.
In the case of the Pyramid the base is ~229m, the height is ~146m,
the distance form the tip to the base is then ~185.5m.
As a check, the square of the height is 146^2 = 21,316.
The area of a face is ( 229 * 185.5 ) / 2 = 21, 240.
This is accurate to about 3/4%, not bad considering we don't
have the precise dimensions and that the builders were working
with hand tools. It is an exercise left for the student to
determine the exact dimensions, you may assume the base side is
precisely 229m.
I also did a little checking, with just Heroditus' requirement
it is possible to derive values for Pi and Phi that are limited
only by the accuracy of the construction. You don't need to invoke
higher math ( Trigonometry ) at all.
