Also might want to -- after it's cleaned up -- download the free versions of
ZoneAlarm, AdAware, and SpyBot. Keep them updated and run them often. Set
up ZoneAlarm to block everything.
Good advice from RichA about Internet Explorer -- download and install
Mozilla Firefox -- it's free. It will import your Favorites, passwords, and
the like from IE. Leave IE on the computer (you can't remove it anyway) and
make Firefox your default browser.
