If your not afraid of trying something new, format your hard drive
and install one of the 'Linux' OS operating systems. Reinstall Windows and
then install Linux and do your internet browsing with Linux. Use your
Windows OS for the things you need to really use it for. Linux isn't
plagued with all of the virus crap, trojans, and worms like Windows is.
Also your system can be dual OS booting. (i.e. two operating OS's that you
can selectively pick to boot up into when you start your computer.)
