You are totally missing my point. I don't find religious discussion (or
religion in general) offensive (although I find it out of place on a
science newsgroup). What I find offensive is anti-science on a science
newsgroup. Religion is not anti-science- it is a philosophical belief
system based on faith, whereas science is based on testability. The two
are not mutually exclusive. Creationism, however, is anti-science.
