Night of the Dead
Monday was a good day, nice and sunny, so
in the afternoon I loaded up the wagon and
about 6pm left for the corner.
I got up there just before 8pm, so I alined
the scope and got set up. sometime around
8:30 two guys came over just to see what
the heck I was doing. I gave'm a view
of Jupiter. Rosamond was dead, even the
people in the froster freeze where mostly
just surbing down the place. I did get a chill
from the light sea breeze so I went in and
ordered a coffee, they had to make a whole
new pot of it for my one cup and becuse they
closed down 5 mins later, that pot of coffee
got dumped. I had figured being a hoiladay they
would have stayed open to 10, but they closed at
9 instead. I stayed up, two of the FF workers came
out and got to see Jupiter too.
So at 9:30 I packed up and headed home. On the way
up there I had passed one of the other trailer parks
and one bunch of teens has seen me going by and
all had made jokes about me, but I paid no heed
to them, I noticed on the way back that the local
cops here there busting up their party.
I saw a car for sale that if I could win the lotto
I'd be able to buy and it would be the ideal car
for me and my scope, a nice caddy hurst!
The hualing of the wagon caused a bit of pain, as
last friday I got another spider bite, this one on
my left wrist ( my pulling arm ) all wraped up.
This week is yealy cleaning time for old B8, got to
take the mirror out for cleaning and checking of
mounting, got to pick up some paint and touch up
the inside and outside of the scope too.
