Mitch-
IMO the presence of the reflectors is amongst the least compelling
evidence that the landings were real. If you want to argue for a hoax,
you can pretty reasonably suggest that the reflectors were placed by
unmanned landers. (I'm just playing the Devil's Advocate here, of course
<g>.)
Far more compelling (indeed, virtually impossible to challenge) are the
photographic record and returned lunar samples.
