Ah, yes, the Starfinder is the Newt. I mentally converted that to
Starbright which is the name for the brighter coatings done.
I'll note that the Meade Newts were often barely 1/4 wave on the surface for
accuracy so a soft star image at high power would be somewhat common.
Personally, I consider that a 1/20th wave on the surface to be acceptable
for a mirror and anything less to be unacceptable.
